The TPMC543 is a standard single-wide PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) compatible module providing:
- PCI Master capable 32 bit 33 MHz PCI interface
- 8 Tristate-Capable bi-directional 5 V-tolerant LVTTL/TTL compatible General Purpose Digital I/O Lines with ESD protection
- 8 Differential 16 bit bipolar Analog Current Inputs
- 16 Single-Ended or 8 Differential 16 bit bipolar Analog High-Voltage Inputs
- 8 Single-Ended 16 bit Analog Outputs with Voltage Mode (bipolar or unipolar) or Current Mode (unipolar) support
- Tristate-Capable bi-directional 5 V-tolerant LVTTL/TTL compatible Digital I/O Lines for Conversion Control Signals (Conversion Clock, Frame Trigger) (Rear-I/O)
Digital I/O
The TPMC543 features 8 ESD protected, interrupt- and tristate-capable bi-directional general purpose digital I/O lines at the front I/O connector. Each digital I/O line has a pull resistor to a common reference (+3.3 V, +5 V or GND).
Analog Outputs
The TPMC543 provides 8 single-ended analog output channels.
Each individual D/A channel can be configured to operate in any of the following output ranges:
- 5 V, 6 V, 10 V or 12 V unipolar Voltage Ranges
- ±5 V, ±6 V, ±10 V or ±12 V bipolar Voltage Ranges
- 4 mA to 20 mA Current Range
- 0 mA to 20 mA (or 24 mA) Current Range
The TPMC543 provides a D/A Sequencer unit for periodic simultaneous digital to analog conversions at a configurable conversion rate.
Analog Inputs
The TPMC543-10R provides 8 differential analog current inputs and 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog high-voltage inputs.
Each Current A/D channel operates in a differential ±25 mA operating range.
Each High-Voltage A/D channel provides the following single-ended input voltage ranges (referenced to ground): ±10 V, ±20 V, ±40 V, ±48 V.
Each High-Voltage A/D channel provides the following differential input voltage ranges: ±10 V, ±20 V, ±40 V, ±80 V, ±96 V.
