Uwe Tews founds TEWS Datentechnik GmbH as a designer of OEM-specific integerated solutions for process and machine control applications.
1983
Peter Zimmermann joins the company, later becoming General Manager and Co-Owner.
1985
Introduction of standard line of VME bus I/O products.
1990
Establishment of ATP Elektronik GmbH providing turnkey production services for high-end OEM accounts.
1992
TEWS enters mezzanine I/O market with release of first IndustryPack modules.
1997
More than 40 IndustryPack modules available off-the-shelf.
1998
Expansion of mezzanine I/O offering with new PMC (PCI mezzanine card) products.
2001
Change of Company Name to TEWS Technologies GmbH. Affiliate TEWS Technologies LLC established in the USA.
2002
Introduction of CompactPCI products in the product line.
2011
First XMC (PCIe mezzanine card) modules released.
2015
mPCIE I/O products introduced
2018
Founder Uwe Tews retires. Tim Tews becomes General Manager and Co-Owner.
2021
Peter Zimmermann moves to Senior Advisor role and Jan Zimmermann becomes General Manager and Co-Owner.

Laying of the foundation stone for new company headquarter.
