The device driver is available for major operating systems. It allows applications simple access to the supported hardware.
This device driver offers functions to read and to set the I/O lines. Port-direction, pullup/pulldown at the I/O lines, input filter, port-direction, and watchdog configuration is supported by the device driver.
A timer ist available and input events can be detected and handled by the device driver.
